Doubled reporting-rate at a European insurer in six months

Replaced an incumbent platform after a 12-week evaluation. Six months in, reporting-rate moved from 15% to 38% and security-team time-on-platform dropped 40%.

Engagement. Standard SaaS contract, three-year term

Duration. Six months since go-live

The customer is a mid-market European insurer with operations in three jurisdictions. They had been a customer of an incumbent security-awareness platform for four years; the platform had delivered measurable results in the first eighteen months and plateaued thereafter.

The internal security team had grown frustrated with the platform's reporting capabilities, the friction of running campaigns, and the difficulty of segmenting the workforce in ways that mapped to actual business structure. They scoped a twelve-week evaluation covering TrendTech and two competitor platforms.

TrendTech won the evaluation on three specific dimensions: cohort-level segmentation matching the customer's identity-provider attributes, native API access to behavioural metrics for the customer's own analytics tooling, and the depth of the multilingual simulation library for their Spanish-speaking population.

Implementation took six weeks including identity-provider integration. The customer ran the new platform alongside the incumbent for one quarter to validate measurement continuity, then migrated fully at the end of the parallel period.

Six months post-migration, reporting-rate has moved from 15% (incumbent baseline) to 38%. Click-rate has moved from 11% to 5%. Security-team time-on-platform is approximately 40% lower than under the previous platform, allowing reallocation of that capacity to detection-engineering work.

Outcome

Reporting-rate up 2.5x in six months, click-rate halved, security-team time-on-platform down 40%, ongoing three-year contract.
